The Dragon Fly is designed to open railcar
hopper doors without danger of physical stress to the operator. This custom-made pneumatic operated railcar door opener mounts on a 6" x 6" I beam to roll smoothly on its hardened rollers. The Dragon Fly has a telescoping shaft with one flexible joint for ease of movement. This unit employees a 2 hp air motor and a planetary gear. It comes equipped with a lubricator, filter, and 3/4 piping. The Dragon Fly uses a 3/4" hose at 80 psi and 70 cfm for maximum power. |
