The electric over hydraulic demon with vertical lift and side shifting wheels is our most popular model. We use a Lesson brand motor in both 3ph and 1ph applications. This motor is explosion proof under Class II, Group F & G. They are both Hi/Lo voltage, 50-60 Hz motors., 1.25 SF with thermo auto reset. Some Canadian applications will require a weg motor with different specifications.

This motor is connected to a SPF Stone pump which operates at 2950 psi @ 2gpm. This SPF Stone pump drives a 6000 series Char-Lynn motor made by Eaton that turns the power shaft. The standard shaft length is 20"; additional shaft lengths are commonly made per request. The driving tip is a stadard taper 1 1/2" down to 3/4".

The vertical lift will travel from 6" to a height of 20". We can change these numbers upon requestbut rarely need to since most capstans are in the 12" - 16" range from the working surface. The side shifting wheels turn 90° on your command via a hydraulic cylinder; of course this is used only for traveling capstans.
